Frequently asked questions
There are a few beautiful models in the AURODESIGN and Tessina collections. There are rings in one or multiple gold colours and with or without diamonds.
Gold is a soft material and, therefore, natural wear is unavoidable. You can always have gold beautifully polished and then the ring will again look as new. However, in contrast to non-spinner rings, the gold wears away very quickly. This is because gold-on-gold acts like sandpaper because of the spinning movement. This leads to wear much more quickly when compared to a ring that does not spin. How fast the ring will wear will depend on the person wearing it. The wear can only be prevented by not having the rings move (i.e. spin).
We recommend visiting your jeweller on a yearly basis. Have your rings checked and polished there. This will ensure that irreparable damage does not suddenly affect your ring.
Irreparable damage means that it must be replaced by a new ring, which can be expensive. If this is required, you can reduce the price by having your old ring used. Note: the gold will have worn off and, therefore, the ring will weigh less when compared to when it was new (the ring contains less gold). The "shortage" in gold will be settled in the quote. Visit your jeweller for more information. VdB&VR gives a lifetime guarantee that it can produce the same model correctly.
